The last 20 months since Sandy have been a complete nightmare. As you know, we were very nervous starting the elevation process and completing the rest of the work on our home since there was a plethora of contractors who were taking advantage of people. I remember the first day we met, you promised me I could trust you and your company. You are a man of your word and I thank you for that.
Our experience with DENJ, Inc. has been an amazing one! The entire project ran like a well-oiled machine. The quality of work and professionalism well surpassed our expectations. It was a pleasure working with you, Frank, Jay and Ken.
As far as John, he was on point. He kept us informed and answered all of our questions and/or concerns. We could not have asked for a better project manager/supervisor. He has a wonderful disposition and his reassurance throughout the project did wonders for our piece of mind.
We have been so consumed with trying to rebuild our home and this huge burden is finally behind us. We can now move forward and get back to the life we once knew.

Like so many others, our home in Toms River, NJ was severely damaged by Super Storm Sandy. We decided early in the repair process that we wanted elevate our home so we wouldn’t be displaced in the future. We had a friend who put us in contact with D.E.N.J., Inc.
From the minute Gerry showed up, we knew we had made the right decision. He made a detailed evaluation of the existing condition of our home and what would be required to elevate it. While we were anxious about pricing, he asked us to be patient so he may prepare a detailed estimate specific to our home. He didn’t want us to have any surprises at the end. He presented us with a fair estimate for the completion of the elevation and we also contracted to have additional work done. Throughout the project we had a constant open line of communication between us, Gerry and Jay. They were always available to answer our questions and assist us through the process. The elevation took place on a Sunday morning, and Gerry and Jay were both on site to ensure the process went smoothly. After the our home was set on the new foundation, Gerry provided us with ideas for finishing the foundation to ensure that our newly elevate home didn’t look like an extremely tall ranch with a plain block foundation.
At the completion of the project, as promised there were no surprises. The entire job was completed early and on budget. Both Gerry and Jay have continued to make themselves available to answer questions.
Our family is extremely satisfied with D.E.N.J, Inc. Their customer service is fantastic and the work was fantastic. We could not have asked for a more supportive and people-friendly company to assist us during such a trying time in our lives.
